ETSI-med is located in Bünde, in Northwest Germany. Our institute is collecting, storing and distributing biological samples from human cancer patients, as well as related data.

Founded in 2005, ETSI-med has its roots in an academic network of cancer specialists established in Switzerland in the late 1990ies.

ETSI-med is managing a biobank of more than 42,000 samples (tissue and body fluids) of human origin. Pseudoanonymized related data are stored in a dedicated ORACLE database. Patient follow-up is possible. Our partners are pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies as well as academic researchers , who need highly standardized samples and related data.
