ETSI-med is a non-profit organization created to foster science and research in cancer. Missions of ETSI-med include in particular:
- Development of standards for sample collection and preparation procedures.
- Collecting, storing and transferring samples of human origin to public or private institutions for cancer research purpose.
- Cancer research projects on the basis of:
- own research protocols,
- research with ETSI-med samples together with partners,
- publicly available research results (meta-analysis in silico).
